If I could change something what would it be?
Yesterday I saw TV show called Ecopils. In that tv it say that the human race will be extinct in the year 3000. To prevent that, people find ways to conserve energy , food and water. One of the ways to reduce global warming is by planting food on top of buildings. Why? One example is, in Singapore only 4% of their veggies are grown there. The other 96% is imported from other countries. Which means planes traveling and that means we are using fossil fuels which will increases global warming. But the problem is that there is no space in Singapore to farm, which is why a scientist thought of planting trees on top of buildings. Now you're wondering how to put soil on buildings top. Well, he took the minerals from soil and made it into water so they have sprinklers aiming at the roots.
Another guy thought how to conserve water. So his idea was to take sewage water and convert into drinking water. Sounds gross right? Well people drank the water and said that it was tasteless. Because all the flavor and minerals that is in real water in not in this water. Which is why scientist add a little bit of regular water or just add their own flavor. But how do you know it is completely healthy ? Well the scientist check for any bacteria before people drinkable.
I think that these changes should be made around the world, than just Singapore and Orange County, California. But I think with these changes the human race can at least stay alive longer.
